Geozzy

Terms of use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

By using Geozzy you agree to these terms. They are short and meant to be read. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The service

Geozzy is a free geography quiz and a set of map games for learning and fun. There are no accounts, and playing costs nothing. The site is run by an individual, as described in the privacy policy.

How you can use it

You may play the games and read the pages for yourself, in class or with friends. Please do not try to overload or disrupt the site, to break into it, or to get around its limits, such as the one attempt a day of the daily challenge.

Content and licenses

The texts, design and code of Geozzy belong to its operator, and all rights are reserved unless something else is stated. Flags come from Flagcdn. Coats of arms, historical flags, regional flags and photos come from Wikimedia Commons; each keeps its own license. Country outlines in the border quiz are from Mapsicon by djaiss, used with credit to the author. Maps and silhouettes are made from public-domain Natural Earth and US Census data, and the statistics come from Our World in Data (CC BY 4.0).

Accuracy and borders

The questions, numbers and maps are made with care but are approximate and can contain mistakes. Geozzy is for learning and entertainment, not for navigation or for legal or official use. Showing a country, a flag or a border does not express any political opinion or take a side in a dispute over a territory.

Your progress

Your progress and scores are kept only in your browser. They can be lost if you clear your browser data or change devices, and we cannot restore them.

Availability and changes

The site is offered as it is, free of charge, and may change, be unavailable for a while or be stopped at any time, with or without notice.

No warranty and liability

To the extent the law allows, Geozzy is provided without warranties of any kind, and its operator is not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. The law of the country where the operator is based applies, without removing the consumer protection that applies where you live.
